Lt. Palee’s 8th Journal Entry

Oh, this is awful! *clucking noisily*

The rebels have a very good grounds, of course, but they’re going about this all wrong. The captain is trying to negotiate, and he’s sent a message asking for the local sector governor to meet with him and his father Jaime Beebeetter to hear the colonists’ grievances in neutral territory, though I can’t imagine where to find neutral territory in this situation. The Sierra Nacho certainly isn’t neutral, and neither is Alpha Centauri.

I just hope we figure something out without bloodshed, the Cathrai don’t need more propaganda material! Luca, we should head for dinner.

Capt. Beebeetter’s 1st Journal Entry

Transcriber’s Note: These Journal entries are from handwritten accounts by Captain Beebeetter, Michael of his attempts to negotiate with the Alpha Centauri rebel leadership.

Walking, walking, walking. I surrendered command after we were engaged by the rebel forces. The fight wasn’t much, but I can’t maintain command of the Nacho in these circumstances, not when I can be more use trying to talk some sense into my dad and brother.

I encountered the rebels about two miles outside the city. I immediately explained why I was here, said that I was Dragan Beebeetter’s son and they either took me to see him, or shoot me on the spot as a military officer in enemy territory.

It says volumes about my father’s respect on Centauri that they’re taking me to see him, and not killing me. Or perhaps the fetching little fedora I’m wearing. It’s a very nice hat, you know. Very slimming.

Lt. Cmdr. Stavorran’s 13th Log Entry

We have finished the limited repairs to be done after the skirmish with the Alpha Centaurian objectors. The battle was so small, the compute didn’t even do a combat recording. Captain Beebeetter has passed command to Mara to go personally and speak with the objectors, since they’re his own relatives.

While I hope the captain can trust his relations, I still think he may be taken hostage. Palee and Luca have chosen to fly reconnaisance under Lieutenant Aeuthedi’s suggestion, due to their obvious abilities. And Sambol is getting more insufferable. And Ellis, and let’s just say certain people on this boat are trying my pleasant nature.

Lt. Sambol’s 9th Journal Entry

Good riddance! Captain Beebeetter has been relieved, for being related to those rebel bastards on Alpha Centauri. Ungrateful ingrates, have they forgotten what the word “colony” means?

COLONY: NOUN. DEFINITION. TERRITORY CONTROLLED

Computer, I know what “colony” means, obviously they don’t. Rebelling against the Empire, absolutely ridiculous. Ican’t believe some of these people I work with, they’re all but sympathetic! I want off the Sierra.

Cmdr. Mara’s 13th Log Entry

This depresses me. I’m in command again. This sucks.

We have reached Alpha Centauri, and when more information came in about the rebel forces, Captain Beebeetter voluntarily stepped down.

It’s not going very well, we got in ship to ship combat with a rebel vessel, a mechant freighter that was illegally armed. Captain Beebeetter, though he has surrendered command as a preemptive maneuver against the admiralty, has gone down to the planet to speak to some family members, hoping we can bring this to a peaceful conclusion before the loss of export of Chickie Chickie Snap Snaps causes mass unrest on Earth.

The Adventures Continue

The 75th came back two weeks ago, and after my other project involving a certain project involving April and scripts, the Sierra’s captain and staff shoved a computer core at me for transcription from their recent missions.

Enjoy!

I am still out there, sort of.

This is a rare Fourth Wall break from the Transcriber on the Sierra Nacho. I am temporarily disabling comments until my deployment with the 75th Space Fleet is over. To anyone still reading around here, I do appreciate you, but the spambots are too much to take when I can’t get here very often to clean up the comments.

Next year when I re-deploy, the adventures of the Sierra Nacho shall continue!

Sincerely,

Capt. Beebeetter’s 24th Log Entry

I found myself in a quandary. The colonies are in revolt against being used as raw material producers by the mother world Earth. We’re being sent to negotiate down the rebels.

The problem is the fact that it’s a matter of time before I’m relieved of command. Soon as the admiralty notices that Michael Beebeetter is Alpha Centaurian and that my father and younger brother are involved with the rebellion organizers.

It’s a quandary, I see why they’re, to be honest with myself, WE are rebelling, Earth abuses the colonies with impunity, this was a matter of time. Now I find myself heading for what could be a war against my home world and blood relatives.

CAPTAIN, YOU ARE NOT YOUR NORMAL SELF THIS EVENING.

I know, Computer. It’s hard to be funny when I’m this torn. You try it sometime. I can only look at my cuckoo-clock and figure how long I’m the commander of this ship for.

Dr. Aaron Ellis’ 11th Log Entry

Well, once again I realize just how deep the depraviti is here. I got rickrolled with an old tape of Commander Mara’s “indiscretions.” Apparently, nobody can figure out who exactly the man is. Lieutenant Speller is not on the manifest, I’ve checked.

I’ve set out to figure out who exactly he is. Commander Mara apparently never figured it out. The video is unclear about the “lieutenant’s” face, the fuzzing effect looks like a deliberate act of the man before he distributed the tape. I will find out this standing mystery of the Sierra Nacho.

Capt. Beebeetter’s 23rd Log Entry

Another mission that did not go according to plan. Super-Moron.

First things first, I told the Kirk-Picard government about the facility. Considering the “facility” ended up being a planetary field training facility. No Quattro drive madness here, somebody at headquarters had their wires crossed. Super-Morons.

Brockman is leaving his ambassador post, temporarily. He’ll be back here in a month or so, after they cool down about him breaking a statue of Scooby Doo. Super-Moron.

We are on our way to our next great adventure. Super-Moron.

And the campaign is not working. Mara hasn’t learned a damn thing. Super-Moron.

Computer, end recording.
